Born in 2011, the band went through a lot of lineup changes, until they've reached a perfect balance as a duo project.

The Folk Metal played by A Thousand Winters has a totally new approach to the genre, unlike lots of the nowadays so called "modern" bands, they try to follow their own way, creating a unique path.

In 2015 a digital version of their debut EP has been released, then the band signed with 40 Dead Records that'll release a 50 copies limited edition CD version of their debut in the near future.
